Training & Development Lead
Location: Noida Department: Human Resources / Quality & Operations Reports To: HR Manager / dotted line reporting to Head of Quality (QMS)
Job Purpose
The Training & Development Lead is responsible for designing, implementing, and governing an end-to-end employee learning framework using the ADDIE model. This role bridges general HR/organizational development and technical competency mapping, ensuring all training processes comply with ISO 9001:2015 (Clause 7.2 - Competence) standards.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. End-to-End Training Management (ADDIE Model) Analysis: Conduct organization-wide Training Needs Analysis (TNA) across general, HR, soft-skills, and technical product/process domains. Design & Development: Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to build structured training modules, SOPs, and On-the-Job Training (OJT) frameworks. Implementation: Schedule, coordinate, and facilitate both internal technical deep-dives and external certification programs. Evaluation: Measure training effectiveness post-30/60 days via performance data, manager sign-offs, and skill evaluations.
2. QMS & ISO 9001 Governance Maintain and update the organization’s Training SOP and centralized QMS documentation. Maintain auditor-ready records, including Skills Matrices, signed attendance logs, training plans, and effectiveness sign-offs. Lead internal and external audit readiness for Clause 7.2 (Competence, Training, and Awareness).
3. Technical & Operational Competency Mapping Partner with engineering, firmware, hardware, and assembly leads to map technical roles to required skill levels. Formalize peer review mechanisms, OJT sign-offs, and high-voltage/lab safety training logs.
4. Metrics & Reporting Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Training Completion Rate (>90%), Training Effectiveness Rate (>85%), and Skill Gap Reduction. Present quarterly training metrics and compliance reports to management during Management Review Meetings (MRM).
Qualifications & Key Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: 4–7 years of experience in Learning & Development (L&D) or Training, ideally within engineering, electronics, automotive, or tech manufacturing startups. Quality Standards: Hands-on experience or strong working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 (Clause 7.2) compliance requirements. Framework Mastery: Demonstrated expertise using the ADDIE model for instructional design. Skills: Excellent communication, stakeholder management, record-keeping, and the ability to interface with technical engineering leads.
