About this role

Indiana Masonic Home Compass Park is looking to add to our Assisted Living CNA Team . Compass Park is a beautiful 320-acre community in the heart of Johnson County, adjacent to Indianapolis. It is a vibrant community through all seasons and a place of beauty, rich in tall trees and winding footpaths. This position is located in Franklin, IN.

Assisted Living CNA Responsibilities:

- Provide quality, compassionate care to Assisted Living residents while promoting independence and dignity.

- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility as needed.

- Assist with meals, including meal setup and providing assistance with eating as needed.

- Complete assignments and assist other staff members with their responsibilities when able.

- Provide care according to each resident’s individualized service plan and safety needs.

- Accurately and timely document care provided and report any changes in a resident’s condition or behavior to the appropriate supervisor.

- Encourage and support residents in participating in activities and maintaining their independence.

- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.

- Follow direction and complete tasks assigned by the Charge Nurse or supervisor.

- Work cooperatively and respectfully with residents, families, coworkers, and other departments.

- Demonstrate dependability by reporting to scheduled shifts on time and working assigned hours.

- Follow all safety precautions and infection control procedures.

- Assist with the orientation and training of new staff members as needed.

- Provide care and services in accordance with Compass Park policies and procedures.

CNA Requirements:

- A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.

- A valid Indiana State Department of Health Nurse Aide Certification required.

- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, coworkers, and supervisors.

- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and accurately document resident care.

- Auditory and visual skills necessary to perform job responsibilities safely.

- Previous experience working with in Assisted Living, long-term care, or a similar setting preferred.
