We are a well-established and growing company in Columbus seeking a talented Logistics Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in coordinating the efficient and cost-effective flow of goods, ensuring timely deliveries and optimal inventory management.

Responsibilities:
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, working closely with carriers, suppliers, and internal teams. Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs paperwork (if applicable). Track shipments and proactively address any potential delays or issues. Maintain accurate inventory records and participate in inventory control activities. Communicate effectively with internal departments (e.g., sales, production, warehouse) and external partners. Negotiate rates and service agreements with transportation providers. Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction in logistics operations. Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations and safety standards. Resolve transportation-related issues and claims promptly and efficiently. Generate reports and analyze logistics data to identify trends and areas for optimization.

Qualifications:
Proven experience in a logistics coordination or similar role. Strong understanding of transportation and warehousing principles. Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Proficiency in using logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel in particular). Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $17.00 - $20.00
