Quality Assurance Operational Lead

At DHL, we are continuously improving the way we work, and strong governance, quality assurance and efficient HR processes play a key role in our success. We are now looking for an experienced Governance Enablement Operational Supervisor to lead our team and ensure the high-quality delivery of HR IT solutions and processes. In this role, you will combine people leadership with hands-on operational expertise. You will lead a team of 11 professionals across Quality Assurance, Process Excellence and Data Management, while ensuring that HR IT solutions delivered by implementation partners meet business requirements, quality standards and compliance expectations.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of 10 employees across Quality Assurance, Process Excellence and Data Management
- Ensure high-quality delivery and adherence to Quality Assurance standards
- Conduct regular 1:1 meetings, performance discussions, goal setting, annual appraisals and development planning
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Perform functional, integration, and regression testing, ensuring system changes meet business requirements.
- Assess and validate the impact of HR and payroll system changes across end-to-end processes.
- Manage defects, testing results, and release readiness recommendations to support high-quality deployments.
- Maintain testing documentation, standards, and knowledge records to drive consistency and improvement.
- Partner with developers, HR stakeholders, change managers, and operations teams to deliver system enhancements and resolve issues.

- What We’re Looking For:
- At least 3 years of team leadership experience
- More than 2 years of relevant functional experience
- Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance and IT testing
- Ability to analyse data, identify key findings and communicate conclusions effectively
- Strong written communication skills, particularly for reports and documentation
- Ability to work independently and manage complex problems
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills
- A completed vocational qualification, Master's degree or equivalent professional experience/qualification
