Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily transportation and delivery activities to ensure timely and efficient execution of logistics operations.
- Plan and monitor trips, ensuring optimal fleet utilization and adherence to operational schedules.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for trucking partners, customers, and internal stakeholders regarding shipment status and delivery concerns.
- Track delivery performance against service level agreements (SLAs) and operational targets, escalating issues as needed.
- Manage trip documentation, investigate delivery exceptions, and implement corrective actions to minimize disruptions.
- Support continuous process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any related field
- Minimum of 2 years in transport management in a supply chain and/or logistics business
- Strong customer service/planning experience
- Experience in distribution and transport operations is an advantage
