About this role
Essential Functions/Job Duties:
- Deliver and pick up copiers and printers
- Drive 26ft box truck
- Read production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed; prepare and load parcels for mailing.
- Receive, unload, inspect, verify, and warehouse items shipped to the warehouse; maintain log of incoming and outgoing freight at the warehouse.
- Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
- Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts, unboxing equipment and racking machines to move and store equipment.
- Use FedEx Ship Manager system to enter and track shipment records.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through use of a computerized inventory system.
- Sweep, dust and mop; organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
- Follow all warehouse policies and procedures; wear the proper safety equipment.
- Performs other tasks as assigned by management.
- Must be able to work 40 hours a week 8am – 5pm, Monday through Friday.
- Communicates with Management and Sales via email, phone, and in person
- Regular, physical attendance on a predictable basis is essential to the performance of this job.
Qualifications
Required Minimum Job Qualifications, Experience, Education and Training
Education: High school diploma or equivalent years of experience required.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Must maintain valid drivers license at all times.
