We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at the Gilmer County Jail .

What You'll Be Doing 🩺
As an LPN, you'll play an important role in the day-to-day healthcare of our patients, including:
- Administering medications and treatments as ordered
- Completing medication passes safely and accurately
- Monitoring patients and recognizing changes in condition
- Assisting with sick call and intake screenings
- Maintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records
- Working alongside providers and other healthcare professionals
- Providing compassionate, professional patient care
- Helping maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff
Qualifications
What We're Looking For
- Current, unrestricted Georgia LPN license
- Current CPR certification
- Strong assessment and medication administration skills
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative healthcare team
- Correctional healthcare experience is a plus, but not required
