Press Brake Operator

Job Summary:
PrideStaff is partnering with a premier local industrial solutions provider to find a dedicated Press Brake Operator to join their dynamic team. In this position, you will perform precision sheet metal fabrication using press brake machinery to craft high-quality components. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual looking to grow their fabrication career with a stable, supportive industry leader.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up, adjust, and operate hydraulic or CNC press brake machinery to bend, form, and shape sheet metal according to job specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and process sheets to determine dimensions, tolerances, and tooling requirements.
Select, align, and secure appropriate dies, punches, and gauges for specific jobs.
Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and protractors to maintain tight quality standards.
Perform basic routine maintenance and routine cleaning of shop equipment and tooling.
Adhere strictly to all shop safety rules, PPE requirements, and industry standards.
Collaborate effectively with team members and shop supervisors to achieve daily production targets.
Qualifications & Special Requirements:
Prior experience operating press brake machinery or working within a metal fabrication environment preferred.
Strong ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
Proficiency with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures).
Solid mathematical ability and strong spatial/mechanical aptitude.
High attention to detail with a focus on precision and product quality.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods during a shift.
