About this role
Job Summary: This position is responsible for the facet inspection Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) unit process used to detect, classify, and control visual defects on semiconductor laser facets and related device surfaces. The Engineer will own inspection performance, yield monitoring, defect classification, recipe development, and continuous improvement for AOI inspection. The role collaborates with Operations, Equipment Engineering, Process Integration, Quality, and upstream/downstream process owners to maintain a capable, repeatable inspection process and to support new product and process introductions.
