Description
Progressive Surface is seeking a Thermal Spray Operator to operate a variety of manufacturing equipment, including waterjet, abrasive waterjet, shot peening, thermal spray, and grit blasting machinery. This position plays a key role in producing high-quality parts while maintaining safety and production standards.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Operate thermal spray, and grit blasting equipment and at times waterjet, abrasive waterjet and shot peening machinery.
- Assist with set ups and changing over equipment.
- Follow work instructions and production schedules.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Assist with material handling and other production-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Willingness to learn multiple processes and work as part of a team.
