Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Interim Legal Talent group has an immediate need for an Interim Commercial Contracts Counsel for a part time role.
Overview: Our client is looking for a part-time Interim Commercial Contracts Counsel for approximately 20-25 hours per week.
Company: Leading national retailer
Experience: Looking for candidates with extensive experience negotiating, drafting, and advising on a wide range of commercial contracts. Demonstrated ability to partner with multiple business stakeholders, prioritize a high-volume workload, and manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
Location: Hybrid, Philadelphia preferred
Responsibilities Include:
The Interim Counsel will be responsible for:
- Reviewing and redlining a variety of commercial agreements, including: NDAs, SOWs, MSAs, SaaS agreements, Vendor agreements, Transportation agreements
- Partnering with business stakeholders across the organization to manage the contracting process, set expectations, and help move agreements through the review cycle efficiently.
- The ideal candidate will have substantial experience supporting technology companies. Additional experience in the retail or manufacturing sectors is highly desirable.
Qualifications Include:
- 8-10 years of experience negotiating, drafting, and advising on a broad range of commercial contracts across multiple business functions.
- Demonstrated ability to support numerous stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Significant experience supporting technology companies is required.
- Experience in the retail and/or manufacturing sectors is highly desirable.
- Juris Doctor (JD) required.
- Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
