Major, Lindsey & Africa’s client has an immediate need for a Labor & Employment Litigation Associate.
Overview: Our client is seeking an interim Litigation or Labor & Employment Associate.
Company: AmLaw 200 Firm
Experience: Successful candidates will have 2+ years experience.
Location: 3x/week in Century City.
Responsibilities Include:
Our client seeks candidates with employment litigation, employment counseling, and transactional work to work on complex litigation and labor & employment matters, including class-action cases. This attorney will support the Labor & Employment and Litigation teams.
Ideal candidates should have excellent drafting and legal research skills, strong attention to detail, high level of organization, strong verbal and interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently and efficiently.
Candidates must have strong academic credentials, prior law firm experience from a similarly-situated firm, and admission to the California bar preferred.
Qualifications Include:
J.D. and barred in California with good standing (California bar preferred)
2+ years of relevant experience in employment litigation or employment counseling.
Experience with class-action litigation or with case management is a plus.
Excellent legal research and writing skills, highly-organized, and able to work independently and efficiently.
Pay Range: $100-120/hour
