## What's in it for you?

- Hourly wage of $23.00/hr

- Stable full-time opportunity with fix schedule (32hrs/ a week): from Saturday to Tuesday - 15:00 to 23:00

Responsibilities for Campus Security Guard

- Conduct interior and exterior patrols of the premises on a regular basis

- Monitor for unauthorized activity, safety hazards, and security breaches

- Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms

- Provide First Aid (OFA 2 level) when required and complete all necessary documentation

- Maintain accurate reports including daily activity logs, incident reports, and shift pass-ons

- Enforce site policies and procedures in a professional and consistent manner

- Assist with access control and ensure only authorized individuals enter the premises

- Provide excellent customer service and act as a point of contact for staff, students, and visitors

- Communicate effectively with supervisors and emergency services when required

Qualifications for Campus Security Guard

- Be legally authorized to work in Canada

- Hold a valid BC security worker license

- Intermediate First aid certification - OFA 2 - required

- Strong communication and e xceptional customer service skills

- Strong report writing and technology skills

- Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus

- Demonstrated ability to act decisively in high-pressure situations

- Strong proficiency with technology

- Physically able to drive, patrol, stand, and walk for extended periods

- Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
