Southern Health Partners has been a leader in correctional healthcare for more than 30 years, providing compassionate, quality medical care to an underserved population. We are looking for a Registered Nurse Medical Team Administrator (RN MTA) to join our team at the Colbert County Jail .

What Youll Do

As the Medical Team Administrator, you'll help oversee the day-to-day delivery of healthcare services within the facility while working alongside a dedicated correctional healthcare team.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Provide and oversee direct patient care within the facility

- Coordinate and support daily clinical operations

- Supervise and collaborate with nursing and medical staff

- Ensure quality patient care and adherence to established policies and procedures

- Complete assessments, medication administration, treatments, and other nursing duties as needed

- Communicate with providers, facility leadership, and the healthcare team

- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

- Help ensure the medical department operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable standards

Qualifications

What Youll Need

- Current RN license in the state of Alabama

- Current CPR certification

- Previous nursing experience required

- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred

- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

- Ability to work effectively and professionally in a correctional setting
