Position Type: Temp-to-Hire, Part-Time (Approx. 30 hours/week)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 4:30 PM – 10:30 PM
Pay Rate: $25.00 – $28.00 / hour (Commensurate with experience)
Job Overview
A leading distributor in Bay Shore, NY , is seeking a bilingual Night Shift Supervisor to oversee evening warehouse and production operations. This is a active, hands-on leadership role ideal for a dependable supervisor who can manage workflow, lead a production team, and step in to assist with order fulfillment whenever needed.
Key Responsibilities
Shift Leadership: Supervise, direct, and motivate a team of evening warehouse and screen printing staff to ensure daily production targets are met.
Hands-On Operations: Actively assist the team by picking orders, packing goods, and supporting print production machinery during peak hours.
Communication & Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact during the evening shift, ensuring safety standards, order accuracy, and seamless handoffs to the morning team.
Quality & Workflow Control: Monitor line speed, inspect print/decoration quality, and resolve production bottlenecks as they arise.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bilingual Preferred: Strong Spanish fluency is highly preferred to effectively communicate with and direct team members.
Experience: 2–4+ years of warehouse, order picking, or light manufacturing/printing lead experience.
Leadership Style: Hands-on mindset—willing to roll up your sleeves and work alongside the team.
Skills: Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
Schedule Availability: Able to work reliable part-time evening hours (4:30 PM – 10:30 PM, M–F).
