Position Overview

The Real Estate Strategy Analyst is a key member of the Market Planning team responsible for supporting Burlington's growth strategy through geospatial analytics, predictive modeling, and data-driven decision making. This role evaluates new store, relocation, and existing store opportunities by integrating demographic, competitive, economic, and operational data. Leveraging Geographic Information Systems (GIS), statistical analysis, and automation tools, the Analyst develops actionable insights that influence real estate investment decisions, portfolio optimization, and long-term market planning initiatives.

A Day in the Life

- Conduct site selection and market optimization analyses using demographic, consumer, competitive, and sales datasets.

- Perform spatial analyses including trade area development, cannibalization analysis, gap analysis, and market potential modeling.

- Develop and   maintain   GIS datasets, geodatabases, and spatial data workflows.

- Create dashboards, reports, and executive presentations that communicate complex geographic insights.

- Utilize ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, SQL,   R   and Python to automate analyses and improve reporting efficiency.

- Evaluate market trends and competitive activity to   identify   growth opportunities and risks.

- Document methodologies and maintain   quality-control   procedures for data integrity and reproducibility.

You'll Come With

- Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Economics, Urban Planning, Computer Science,   Math   or a related quantitative field.

- 1-3 years of experience in data analysis or   a related   field.

Compensation Range: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00
