Farro Ambassadors

Are you an experienced Deli professional, ready to share your skills and passion for great food with others?

We’re looking for Farro Deli Ambassadors to join our Grey Lynn and Smales Farm store , bringing a love of great food and fantastic customer service to our Deli teams.

As a Farro Ambassador, you'll be dishing out deliciousness daily! From helping customers discover their new favorite gourmet goodies to supporting local artisans, you'll be a key ingredient in our recipe for success. With a dash of teamwork and a sprinkle of enthusiasm, you'll ensure every visit to Farro is a flavor-packed delight.

You’ll get to share your passion and food knowledge with our customers, who appreciate fine food and love the fantastic service they receive when shopping with us.

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver exceptional customer service and inspire customers with your food knowledge and recommendations
• Serve and prepare our delicious range of deli products with care and attention to detail
• Keep our deli displays fresh, well-stocked and beautifully presented
• Maintain high standards of food safety, health & safety and cleanliness
• Support stock management, minimise waste and maintain product freshness
• Work collaboratively with the wider store team to keep the department running smoothly
• Share your knowledge and passion for food with both customers and fellow team members

What Are We Looking For?
• A genuine passion for great food and creating fantastic customer experiences
• Previous deli or food service experience
• Confidence working with fresh food and deli products
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Great attention to detail and high standards of presentation
• A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to get stuck in
• The ability to work collaboratively as part of the wider store team
• A natural ability to share your food knowledge with others

We’re looking for two Deli Ambassadors to work across the following shifts:

• Sunday – Thursday
• Tuesday – Saturday
