About this role
Put your journeyman electrical expertise to work at renewable energy project sites. This role involves hands-on installation, connection work, electrical testing, and fault diagnosis, with an emphasis on safe practices and independent performance.
What you will do
- Interpret electrical plans to guide field tasks.
- Carry out electrical system installations at the journeyman level.
- Complete wire and cable terminations.
- Test electrical systems and troubleshoot faults.
- Maintain safe, productive work practices with minimal oversight.
What you bring
- An active journeyman electrician license valid in the state where the work is performed.
- Field experience performing electrical work at the journeyman level.
- Proficiency in plan interpretation, electrical installation, terminations, testing, and fault diagnosis.
- The ability to complete tasks independently while maintaining safety and productivity.
- Previous work on solar installations or other renewable energy projects is a plus.
Location: Grand Island, NE
Pay: $40 to $54 per hour
Employment: Full-Time W-2
