Location: Alexandria, VA
Pay: $36 to $55 per hour
Full-time, W-2 employment with Rinvio, working on site with our client.
Put your commercial HVAC experience to work keeping building equipment operational through hands-on service, maintenance, and installation. This position offers consistent hours and combines troubleshooting and repair assignments with scheduled equipment installations and replacements across commercial buildings.
What you will do
- Investigate operating problems in commercial HVAC equipment, identify the source of trouble, and determine the repairs needed to restore function.
- Carry out repairs on split systems, rooftop units, and other light-commercial equipment as part of regular service work.
- Perform maintenance on commercial heating and cooling equipment to help keep systems operating reliably.
- Complete equipment installations and replace existing units according to the planned installation schedule.
- Identify faults in basic building controls and make repairs to address control-related operating problems.
What you bring
- At least three years spent servicing or installing commercial HVAC equipment, or comparable practical experience gained in the field.
- EPA Section 608 certification at the Universal level.
- Hands-on diagnostic and repair ability covering split systems, rooftop equipment, and basic building controls.
- A valid driver’s license, supported by a clean driving history.
- OSHA 10 training or OSHA 30 training is preferred but not required.
