Qualifications

What You'll Do

As a Certified Medication Aide, you will help support quality patient care by:

- Administering medications safely and accurately within your scope of practice

- Maintaining accurate Medication Administration Records (MAR)

- Monitoring patients and reporting changes or concerns to nursing staff

- Assisting with medication inventory, storage, and accountability

- Supporting nurses and providers with daily healthcare operations

- Following established healthcare policies, procedures, and safety standards

- Helping maintain an organized, professional, and patient-focused environment

What We're Looking For

- Current Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification appropriate for the state of Texas

- Current CPR certification

- Strong communication and organizational skills

- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

- Ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative team

- Previous healthcare or correctional experience is a plus, but not required
