About this role
The Aluminum Roof Sheet TIG/ARC Welder is responsible for welding aluminum roof sheets, flashings, gutters, trims, and related roofing and cladding components. The role includes fabrication, installation support, repair, and ensuring high-quality, leak-free welding work.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding on aluminum roof sheets, flashings, gutters, trims, and accessories.
- Perform ARC welding on GI and metal components as required.
- Weld aluminum sheets ranging from 0.5 mm to 1.0 mm thickness .
- Prepare, repair, and inspect welded joints to ensure quality and leak prevention.
- Operate TIG/ARC welding machines, grinders, and fabrication tools safely.
- Work safely at heights using PPE, fall protection, manlifts, or scaffolding.
- Coordinate with supervisors and installation teams during roofing works.
- Work in outdoor construction environments.
Preferred Skills
- TIG/ARC welding certification preferred.
- Experience in roofing, cladding, waterproofing, and aluminum finishing works.
- Ability to operate manlifts and scaffolding equipment.
