About this role
Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the Internal Control System (IKS).
- Support the development and implementation of Finance policies, procedures, and processes, ensuring clear responsibilities, approval flows, and effective control points.
- Monitor and improve key Finance processes and workflows, ensuring consistent execution and compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Perform internal control testing and monitor the execution of key financial controls.
- Ensure compliance with finance policies, procedures, approval matrices, and governance standards.
- Identify process gaps, control weaknesses, and improvement opportunities, and coordinate corrective actions with relevant Finance stakeholders.
- Monitor Accounts Receivable aging and support cash collection governance and reporting.
- Coordinate governance activities during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing.
- Support internal audits by preparing documentation, coordinating audit requests, and tracking remediation actions.
- Prepare governance dashboards, KPI reports, and risk monitoring reports.
- Support process standardization and continuous improvement across Finance.
- Collaborate with Accounting, Treasury, FP&A, Business Controllers, and other Finance stakeholders to improve finance governance, process effectiveness, and controls.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Controlling, Financial Governance, Internal Controls, or Finance Compliance.
- Good understanding of finance processes, policies, and internal controls.
- Strong understanding of Swiss accounting and financial reporting processes.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA or other ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
- Fluent English; German is an advantage.
