Quality Control & Assembly Technician
PrideStaff is hiring a Quality Control & Assembly Technician for a leading manufacturer and distributor of laboratory and diagnostic products for the clinical healthcare market.

Position Type: Temp through end of year (opportunity to extend or convert based on order activity)

What You'll Do (50% Assembly / 50% Quality Inspection)
Assembly Duties (50%):
Assemble equipment parts and finalize setups, including installing rotors, markers, and wiring harnesses.
Work on electronic assembly tasks in a production environment (no blueprint reading required).
Quality Inspection Duties (50%):
Inspect equipment assembly, wiring, and circuitry for accuracy and compliance.
Perform functional tests, burn-ins, operational testing, and acceptance tests using test equipment.
Support Quality Management System (QMS) processes, including Nonconforming Material, Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA), and vendor conformance inspections/documentation.
What You Need
Education: High school diploma or equivalent (electronic technology training is a plus).
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in electronic assembly and quality inspection within an equipment manufacturing environment.
Technical Skills: Experience using basic test and measurement equipment (voltmeter, ohmmeter, electrical safety analyzer).
Software & Systems: Windows 10/11 proficiency; basic MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with Google Chrome or Firefox.
Soft Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, ability to multitask, solve problems, and work both independently and collaboratively.
Physical Demands: Ability to sit or stand for long periods, lift items up to 50 lbs, and reach above shoulder height or below the waist to move parts and materials.
