Responsibilities for University Campus Security Guard
- Customer service duties like welcome, verify identity, and guide visitors
- Manage access control of entry ways and exit points using equipment at your disposal
- Perform regular Site patrol with G-track device, locking and unlocking building, investigating and reporting incidents and hazards
- Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
- Maintain a safe and secure environment
- CCTV cameras monitoring and operation.
- Assist site staff and visitors to ensure safe and secure environment
- Monitor and control special events crowd traffic and room access
- Take actions during emergency situations as per Garda world and USB protocols
- Complete Daily reports and Incident Reports.
Qualifications for University Campus Security Guard
- Be authorized to work in Canada
- Hold a valid Manitoba security license
- First aid certification an asset
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Proficient in basic phone & computer skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience in the security industry (asset)
- Bilingual (fluency in written and Verbal French and English)
- Leadership and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a stressful environment
