Safety Compliance Officer — Mechanical Construction

We are seeking a Safety Compliance Officer to oversee jobsite safety and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and project requirements.
Responsibilities
- Conduct jobsite inspections and safety audits.
- Identify and correct workplace hazards.
- Enforce PPE, fall protection, LOTO, confined space, excavation, rigging, and other safety requirements.
- Conduct safety orientations, toolbox talks, and training.
- Complete JHAs/JSAs and maintain safety documentation.
- Investigate injuries, near misses, and incidents.
- Monitor subcontractor safety compliance.
- Assist with OSHA inspections and safety audits.
- Stop unsafe work when an imminent hazard exists.
- Promote a strong safety culture across construction projects.
Qualifications
- Construction safety experience, preferably in mechanical construction.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations.
- Experience with jobsite inspections and incident investigations.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and enforce safety standards.
