Your role Key responsibilities in your new role

Taking on the role of a Trapped-Ion Development
Engineer, you'll join a passionate, international team dedicated to making
quantum computing a reality. As such, you will be driving the development of
cutting-edge ion trap chips and advancing their integration into quantum
processing units. More concretely, you will:

- Support technology
development  in the field of ion-trap quantum processors
- Plan and execute experimental
splits on productive fabrication tools
- Develop new materials and new
processes  to
facilitate ion trap fabrication
- Standardize process
blocks  to ensure reproducible and scalable manufacturing processes
- Conduct inline
measurements and process control  to ensure the quality of ongoing processes
- Evaluate and
interpret process data  to continuously improve manufacturing quality

Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

- Master’s degree  in physics,
chemistry, process engineering, or a comparable technical field
- 3+ years of
professional experience in the semiconductor industry , ideally in line support/process
engineering or process development
- Experience in creating semiconductor process flows
- Proficiency in using process
databases and data-driven process optimization
- Collaborative mindset , with a proven
ability to work effectively across functions and departments
- Excellent English communication skills,  German skills are a plus

This job is initially
limited to 2 years. We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based
on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in
accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the
electrical and electronics industry, employment group G ( https://www.feei.at/aktuelles/mindestloehne-und-gehaelter-eei/ ). The monthly salary
is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your
expertise and skills.
