Southern Health Partners (SHP) is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at the Troup County Jail .
Correctional healthcare gives you the opportunity to provide hands-on nursing care to an underserved population while working as part of a dedicated clinical team. With SHP, you'll have the support and resources you need to deliver quality patient care without the chaos of a traditional hospital setting.
What You'll Do
💚 Provide nursing care to patients in a safe and secure correctional setting
💚 Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
💚 Perform assessments and monitor patient conditions
💚 Respond to urgent and routine healthcare needs
💚 Document patient care accurately and timely
💚 Collaborate with the healthcare team to support quality patient outcomes
💚 Maintain a professional, compassionate approach with every patient
Qualifications
What We're Looking For
✔️ Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Georgia
✔️ Current CPR certification
✔️ Previous correctional or relevant nursing experience is preferred, but not required
✔️ Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
✔️ Ability to work independently while functioning as part of a healthcare team
✔️ Commitment to providing quality care in a secure environment
