Warehouse Associate / Forklift Driver – 1st Shift
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Shift: 1st Shift – 8 to 10-hour shifts
Job Summary
We are hiring an experienced Warehouse Associate / Forklift Driver to join our team on 1st shift. This position is responsible for safely operating a sit-down or stand-up forklift, loading and unloading trailers, moving materials throughout the warehouse, staging products, and assisting with inventory and shipping activities.
The facility operates multiple shifts, so candidates must be open to working 8 to 10-hour shifts and flexible to work other shifts if business needs change . Currently, the primary need is for 1st shift .
Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down or stand-up forklifts to load and unload trailers and semi-trucks
- Move, stack, and organize pallets, reusable plastic containers, and packaging materials
- Stage products and materials throughout the warehouse
- Use RF scanners to scan and track inventory
- Process inventory according to established work instructions
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities
- Complete required shipping, receiving, and inventory paperwork
- Verify products and shipments for accuracy and quality
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow company safety procedures and general OSHA guidelines
- Perform other warehouse duties as needed
Qualifications
- Previous forklift experience required
- Experience operating a sit-down or stand-up forklift preferred
- Warehouse, shipping, receiving, or material handling experience preferred
- Experience using RF scanners is a plus
- Ability to safely lift, move, and organize warehouse materials
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written work instructions
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work 8 to 10-hour shifts
- Must be willing to work 1st shift and remain flexible to other shifts based on business needs
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment
