MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR
Bridgeview Village Apartments - Charleston, SC 29403 (Downtown)
Salary: $40 per hour
Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations at our Bridgeview Village community in downtown Charleston, SC. The ideal candidate will have expertise in maintenance management, project management, and general maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise maintenance staff, providing guidance and support
- Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities to ensure optimal efficiency
- Oversee the repair and maintenance of equipment, machinery, and systems
- Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electrical, HVAC, low voltage, plumbing, etc.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
- Develop and maintain maintenance procedures and documentation
Qualifications
- Proven experience in maintenance management
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Effective communication within the team
- Knowledge of electrical systems, low voltage, HVAC, plumbing, etc.
- Leadership qualities to lead a team effectively
