General Labor

Pridestaff is currently seeking a  General Labor Associate for a cement manufacturing company located in Corona, CA.  Please see the job requirements below to be considered. Pay Rate: $20-$21 Shift: Monday – Friday, 3:45am to 12:30pm, over time as needed
Job Duties :  The main purpose of the General Labor Associate is to support the manufacturing team. The General Labor Associate does this by performing various tasks to support the operations. The General Labor may work in a variety of different departments within the warehouse or manufacturing area, as assigned by the supervisor, to complete diverse job tasks. In addition, it is the responsibility of the General Labor Associate to work towards maintaining a Safety-First Culture.
Essential Functions: Perform all tasks as assigned by department Maintains clean and safe working environment Ability to work outside in all weather conditions

Essential Skills: Ability to load and unload cement bags
Attention to Detail: Thoroughly reviews work for errors, follows instructions, proofreads, and maintains accurate records Organization: Exhibit organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to problem-solve
Responsibilities: Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment. Assist with inventory preparation and counting. Assist with performing maintenance and clean-up. Complete all assigned job tasks within designated timeframe. Maintains safe and clean work environment by following. Safety and housekeeping processes and procedures.  Assist specialized workers. Additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements: Must have at least 6 months working in a r warehouse or manufacturing or similar experience within the last year.  Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs. Ability to work on feet for 8 hours Must be able to talk, hear, visually see, pull, push, bend, lift to 50lbs, balance, visually see, grasp, and stand and sit for extended periods of time Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus. Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl Ability to work outside when needed. Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job. Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred but not required.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $20.00 - $21.00 Per Hour
