JOB SUMMARY

Center for Positive Changes (CFPC) & The Resilience Project are committed to positively impacting one client at a time. The Resilience Coach provides trauma-informed, youth-centered support to transitional-age youth (TAY), including foster and justice-involved populations.

This role partners with youth to develop life skills, access community resources, and achieve goals related to housing, education, employment, and overall well-being. The Resilience Coach collaborates with multidisciplinary teams and serves as a consistent, supportive presence to promote resilience, stability, and long-term success.

Qualifications

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:

A qualified candidate must possess one (1) or more of the following:

1. Bachelors degree in social work, psychology, public administration, human services, or a related field

OR

2. Minimum of four (4) years of supervisory experience working with vulnerable populations, services to foster youth, justice-involved youth, and/or transitional-age youth.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. Required Minium Qualifications indicated above

AND

2. Experience in coaching, mentoring, case management, behavioral health, or youth development roles.

AND

3. Cultural humility and ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

AND

4. Familiarity with CWS, Probation, STRTP/THP programs, or San Diegos youth-serving network.
