Center for Positive Changes is hiring compassionate, dependable, and motivated Child Care Workers to support youth living in our Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Programs (STRTPs).

Location(s)
Multiple residential treatment homes throughout San Diego Count y.
Pay Rate
$22.00 is the starting pay rate regardless of experience and/or education.
Qualifications
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree (if hired after January 1, 2017)
Or
- Valid Child Development Teaching Permit, Alcohol Counselor Certificate, and/or Drug Counselor Certificate
Or
- Completed 12-semester units of Early Childhood Education, Adolescent Development, or Foster and Kinship Care Education or related field.
Or
- At least 1 year of experience working at STRTP or similar population.
Or
- At least 100 hours of experience working with youth as a mentor, athletic coach, teacher, vocational coach, tutor, counselor, or other relevant experience.
Or
- Relevant life experience in the child welfare, mental health or juvenile justice systems as a consumer, mentor, or caregiver or other relevant experience as determined by CFPC.
