Physical Therapist

Physical Therapy & Beyond, a division of Michigan Ear Institute, is seeking a part-time Vestibular Physical Therapist, who will deliver specialized, patient‑centered care to help individuals overcome dizziness, balance disorders, and mobility challenges.

This is a part-time opportunity - this role will work 20 hours over 2.5 days, Monday - Friday (no weekends or holidays)

Key responsibilities include:

- Conducting comprehensive functional assessments

- Developing customized treatment plans

- Providing evidence‑based vestibular rehabilitation that improves function and quality of life

- Documenting clinical findings and progress

- Patient education

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- Critical thinking, complex problems solving, decisive judgement and ability to work independently.

- Knowledge and application of professional practice and regulatory requirements.

- Must be able to work in demanding work environment, organize multiple priorities completing work duties within expected timelines and requirements.

- Computer and required technology proficiency/competencies.

- Demonstrates effective and efficient professional communication (verbal & written) skills as well as interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, teamwork/collaboration, customer service and community relations abilities.

- Able to retain and apply new knowledge & skills.

- Keeps abreast of professional practice development and advancement.

Qualifications

- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program

- Valid Physical Therapist license in the State of Michigan

- 1 -5 years experience preferred especially in Balance Training & Vestibular Rehabilitation

- Experience in Manual Techniques is a plus

- Familiarity with Athena/WebPT is a plus
