Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Third Shift
Schedule: 10:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Position Summary
Wesley Village is seeking a dependable and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our third-shift nursing team. The CNA will provide respectful, person-centered care while helping residents remain comfortable and safe throughout the night.
Wesley Village is a full-service retirement community offering independent living homes, independent living apartments, Wesley-At-Home Home Services, and Home Nursing Services, a long-term care facility and skilled care, which includes short-term rehabilitation and memory care.
Candidates must be available to work from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., including every other weekend .
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and repositioning
- Answer call lights promptly and respond to residents needs
- Obtain and document vital signs, weights, intake, output, and other assigned information
- Assist with transfers and mobility using proper techniques and equipment
- Conduct scheduled rounds and support resident safety throughout the night
- Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition to the charge nurse
- Maintain residents dignity, privacy, comfort, and confidentiality
- Follow infection-control, safety, and documentation procedures
- Work cooperatively with nurses and other members of the care team
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification in IL, in good standing
- Availability to work third shift, 10:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.
- Ability to work every other weekend
- Employees are required to work periodically scheduled Designated Overtime (DOT) shifts throughout the month. Advance notice will be provided in accordance with facility policy and applicable law.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
- Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Long-term care or healthcare experience preferred, but not required
