Be part of something new and exciting! As we recently opened our Hansel Ford of Napa dealership , we are looking for motivated technicians who want to grow with us and build a long‑term career. This is a unique opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a new Ford store backed by a stable, well‑established automotive group with 9 dealerships and multiple brands .

If you have experience working on Ford Power Stroke diesel engines, diesel drivability concerns, fuel systems, emissions systems, turbochargers, and heavy-duty truck repairs , we want to hear from you! Ford diesel certification and Super Duty truck experience are highly valued.

The Service Technician utilizes state-of-the-art equipment, advanced Ford diagnostic systems, and manufacturer training to efficiently and safely maintain and repair our customers' vehicles. Working as part of our amazing service team, the technician provides a second-to-none experience for each and every customer.

Hansel Auto Group services the following brands: Ford, Lincoln, Toyota, Honda, Mazda, BMW, Subaru, Volkswagen.

Pay Range:

$33.80-$45.00 hourly plus bonus pay plans are also available, depending on experience.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but not limited to:

- Examines customer vehicles

- Identifies necessary vehicle repairs and maintenance

- Estimates cost of repairs

- Performs vehicle repairs and maintenance

- Perform diesel fuel system, turbocharger, cooling system, aftertreatment, and emissions repairs.

- Utilize Ford diagnostic software and scan tools to troubleshoot electrical, drivability, and performance concerns.

- Documents services performed

- Performs services efficiently and according to dealership guidelines

- Follows dealership and manufacturer service guidelines

- Great working demeaner with co-workers

- Maintains CSI at or above Company standards

- Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area

- Participates in required training

- Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system

- Follows Safeguards rules and regulations

- Complies with Company policies and procedures

- Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties

Qualifications and Skills

- Ford Certified Technician and/or Ford Diesel Certification is a Huge Plus!!

Experience diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, fuel systems, and heavy-duty trucks is highly preferred!

- ASE Certificates

- Have the highest level of workmanship

- Must be reliable, punctual, and safety focused

- Pass a drug test

- Pass a background check

Physical Requirements

- Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and sit for extended periods.

- Frequent use of hands for handling tools, equipment, and controls

- Ability to enter, exit, and demonstrate vehicles

- Ability to work safety at heights and in varying weather and environmental conditions

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

- Ability to perform overhead work on vehicles for extended periods.

Driving Requirements:

- Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license and an acceptable driving record in accordance with company policy and insurer requirements

- Ability to safely operate company and customer vehicles.

Pay Defined: For a productive/bonus-based pay plan the Technician Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of $33.80. The position may also pay a production bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit.
