About this role

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Perform routine inspections of facility equipment and building systems.

- Complete preventive maintenance tasks according to established schedules.

- Assist with minor repairs to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.

- Replace light bulbs, ceiling tiles, air filters, and other building components as needed.

- Respond to maintenance service requests in a timely and professional manner.

- Maintain building appearance through general repairs, painting, and upkeep.

- Assist with furniture moves, room setups, and facility event support.

- Operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely.

- Maintain accurate maintenance records and work order documentation.

- Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors.

- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

- Keep mechanical rooms, maintenance shops, and work areas clean and organized.

- Assist senior technicians with larger repair and maintenance projects.

- Support emergency response efforts during facility-related incidents.

Qualifications

Education

- High School Diploma or GED required.

- Trade school or training preferred but not required.

Experience

- 1 to 2 years of facility maintenance, building maintenance, construction, or related experience preferred.

- Entry-level candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

- Basic understanding of building maintenance principles.

- Familiarity with hand and power tools.

- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

- Strong customer service and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods.

- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

- Ability to work on ladders and in mechanical spaces.

- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Certifications

- OSHA 10 Certification preferred.

- Valid Driver's License may be required.

- EPA Universal Certification preferred but not required.
