Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC coping/cutting machines.
- Read and interpret structural steel shop drawings and dimensions.
- Load/unload steel using overhead cranes and forklifts.
- Perform coping, cutting, drilling, and other programmed operations.
- Inspect finished parts using tape measures, calipers, squares, and other measuring tools.
- Perform tooling changes, basic machine adjustments, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and productive work area.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of CNC machine operation experience.
- Previous CNC coping/beam line experience strongly preferred.
- Structural steel fabrication experience preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints/shop drawings.
- Experience with machine setup, tooling changes, and basic CNC troubleshooting.
- Proficient with tape measures, calipers, squares, and other measuring tools.
- Experience operating around overhead cranes and forklifts.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
