Sales Manager
Our Client is seeking a commercially driven Sales Manager – Produced Water Solutions to expand adoption of our produced water treatment and evaporation technologies across U.S. oil and gas markets.
They are looking for a leader who combines oilfield credibility, technical understanding, commercial discipline, and strong execution. This individual will translate customer challenges into compelling solutions and own opportunities from initial engagement through proposal, negotiation, closing, and operational handoff.

To thrive/succeed as the Sales Manager, you should have:
• 5–10+ years of relevant oil & gas commercial, technical sales, business development, engineering, operations, or produced-water experience.
• Strong knowledge of produced water management, treatment, disposal, recycling, completions, production operations, SWD infrastructure, or oilfield facilities.
• Proven ability to build customer relationships, develop opportunities, and convert them into revenue.
• Strong commercial, financial, and Excel skills, including pricing models, customer economics, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
• Experience with commercial agreements, including MSAs, work orders, pricing agreements, and contract negotiations.
• Strong communication, presentation, and CRM skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences; willingness to travel approximately 50% and be based in or willing to be based in Houston or Midland, Texas.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Direct experience with produced water treatment, recycling, disposal, evaporation, or water infrastructure.
• Experience supporting completions, production operations, or oilfield facilities.
• Established relationships with Permian Basin operators, midstream companies, or water-management providers.
• Experience with produced-water, oilfield services, or related technology companies.
• Experience selling new or differentiated technology requiring strong technical and commercial credibility.
• Previous responsibility for sales forecasting, pricing, contracts, and account strategy.
Your responsibilities as the Sales Manager will include:
Sales & Business Development
• Develop and execute sales strategies for EWS produced water solutions across targeted operators, midstream companies, and water-management providers.
• Build relationships with key decision-makers and identify opportunities around produced water treatment, disposal reduction, evaporation, reuse, and infrastructure.
• Generate new business, expand strategic accounts, conduct customer/field meetings, and maintain account plans and a qualified sales pipeline.
Technical & Commercial Development
• Understand customer water systems, operating constraints, volumes, chemistry, treatment needs, and disposal economics.
• Partner with Engineering and Operations to develop solutions, pricing, ROI analyses, proposals, scopes of work, and implementation plans.
• Evaluate RFPs and commercial terms, participate in contract negotiations, and identify commercial and contractual risks.
Sales Process & CRM
• Maintain accurate CRM records, opportunity stages, forecasts, proposals, contracts, and follow-up activities.
• Use data-driven insights to prioritize opportunities, allocate resources, and deliver monthly and quarterly sales reports.
Cross-Functional Execution
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, and Executive Leadership to ensure customer commitments are deliverable.
• Lead Sales-to-Operations handoffs, remain engaged through deployment/startup, and capture customer feedback and competitive intelligence.
Leadership Development
• Demonstrate the ability to independently develop and close opportunities, build a disciplined sales process, accurately forecast revenue, and produce high-quality proposals and economic models.
• Progress toward Sales Manager leadership by coaching team members, leading account strategies and sales reviews, and translating growth objectives into measurable results.
