PrideStaff has immediate openings for two Material Handlers for our lumber distribution client, located in Denver. These are temp to hire opportunities with a well established company
Job Description:
Operating a forklift and by hand, unload various building materials and place into inventory Receive goods into inventory Prepare paperwork for distribution and shipping of products Build customer orders according to scanners or hand written orders and prepare for shipment or delivery Load orders onto trucks for delivery Process return items and place in inventory Assist in periodic inventory
Job Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of fork lift /material handler experience High school diploma or equivalent Basic knowledge of building materials Able to read and accurately fill customer orders Ability to measure to 1/16th of an inch Experience operating a forklift Desire to work outdoors in the elements Able to lift up to 50 lbs Good safety record Willing to work over time
