Pay Rate: Starts at $28.00/Hour (Higher rate available depending on experience)
Potential for Hire: Strong performers may have an opportunity to convert to a Contract-to-Hire position after the project.
Position Overview
We are seeking Industrial Electricians for a 4-week plant project. This role involves installing and connecting industrial electrical systems in an active plant environment while coordinating work with other trades.
What You’ll Do
- Install, run, and terminate industrial electrical wiring and conduit
- Install electrical components and equipment throughout an operating plant
- Connect electrical systems while coordinating work around pipefitting crews and process piping installation
- Review electrical drawings, layouts, and work instructions to determine proper equipment placement and wiring routes
- Install conduit, supports, cable, junction boxes, disconnects, and other electrical components
- Use appropriate hand and power tools for electrical installation work
- Coordinate with other trades to avoid conflicts and maintain project progress
- Follow established safety procedures when working around active plant operations
- Complete assigned electrical installation tasks according to project schedules
What We’re Looking For
- Industrial electrical installation experience
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and layouts
- Experience working with conduit, wiring, cable, junction boxes, disconnects, and electrical components
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Ability to work safely in an active plant environment
- Ability to work effectively with pipefitters and other trades
- Dependable and able to meet project deadlines
