Position Summary
Seeking an Electrical Integration Engineer with hands-on experience in electrical design, installation, and testing. This role supports power-generation equipment and electrical integration within a manufacturing environment, including control wiring, testing, troubleshooting, and production support.

What You’ll Do

- Support electricians with training on schematic interpretation, electrical installation, testing, and labeling.

- Work with sales and engineering teams on electrical designs, proposals, and specifications while ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) .

- Inspect and functionally test completed equipment before shipment using drawings, specifications, and defined test requirements.

- Identify electrical issues, discrepancies, or defects and coordinate corrections with supervisors and managers.

- Provide technical direction on electrical component design, placement, and layout within equipment enclosures.

- Train employees on safe equipment and tool operation, electrical work methods, and required technical procedures.

- Develop and coordinate cross-training programs covering the electrical aspects of the company's products.

- Determine appropriate work methods and priorities while exercising sound technical judgment.

- Perform electrical calculations related to wiring and equipment load requirements.

- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, blueprints, layouts, and specifications.

- Develop electrical drawings and Bills of Material (BOMs) and specify appropriate electrical equipment.

- Review third-party electrical materials and equipment required for projects and coordinate their timely receipt and integration.

- Provide technical support and communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, management, and customers.

- Travel to job sites when required.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

- Minimum 3 years of professional experience involving the design, installation, and testing of electrical equipment.

- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and blueprints.

- Experience designing and building control panels for basic electromechanical systems.

- Proficiency with electrical test equipment, including:

Multimeters

- Amp meters

- Functional testing equipment and methods

- Defined indicator testing

- Ability to perform functional and indication testing of electrical equipment.

- Basic programming experience with electrical equipment such as displays, sensors, and HMIs .

- Working knowledge of AC/DC electricity and electrical theory .

- Thorough understanding of the current National Electrical Code (NEC) .

- Strong knowledge of power-generation equipment and related electrical systems, including:

Generators

- Transformers

- Switchboards

- Controllers

- Circuit breakers

- Motors

- Heating units

- Conduit systems

- Ability to work from written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions.

- Strong professional communication and presentation skills.

- Customer-focused approach with the ability to maintain a professional image.

- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Knowledge

- Power generation systems

- Electronic controls

- Fuel system integration

- Experience with fuel-system integration is a plus.

- Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments.

- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and use a computer for extended periods.

- Ability to communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, and management.

- Ability to travel between local facilities as needed.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

- Some travel to job sites is required.
