About the Role

The Cycle Count / Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining high levels of inventory accuracy through systematic cycle counting activities, discrepancy analysis, and system updates. This role supports warehouse operations by ensuring all inventory records are accurate and aligned with physical stock in SAP/WMS systems.

What You Will Do

- Perform daily system-generated cycle counts on raw materials, WIP, packaging, and finished goods.
- Conduct blind counting using RF scanners and SAP system.
- Follow warehouse zoning and bin location sequence to ensure full coverage and accuracy.
- Support quarterly and annual stock count activities (internal & external audits)
- Verify physical stock against system records (SAP / WMS).
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies (shortage, overage, misplacement).
- Post inventory adjustments with proper coding and documentation in SAP.
- Ensure inventory accuracy targets (Inventory Record Accuracy (IRA), Book-to-Physical) are achieved.
- Identify process gaps in storage, handling, or transactions and propose improvements.
- Track KPIs such as: Inventory Record Accuracy (IRA).
- Cycle Count Execution (CCE).
- Discrepancy aging (<48 hours resolution).

- Record all cycle count results, discrepancies, and adjustments in SAP.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly cycle count reports and highlight issues or risks impacting inventory accuracy.
- Identify opportunities to improve cycle count efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure full compliance with internal policies and procedures, external audit requirements.
- Prepare documentation and reports for internal/external audits.
- Support audit findings closure and corrective action tracking.
- Ensure full compliance with customer-specific requirements by integrating customer quality standards into daily operations to consistently meet and support customer objectives.
- Ensure full compliance with EHS requirements by implementing and adhering to established policies, procedures, and objectives to maintain a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.

What You Need to Be Successful

- Hands-on experience in performing cycle counting, stock reconciliation, or inventory management.
- Hands-on experience with SAP (MM / WMS) or similar ERP systems for inventory transactions and reporting.
- Good communication skills with ability to coordinate cross-functional teams (Warehouse, Production, Planning, Quality).

Bonus Points if You Have

- Experience in automotive or electronics manufacturing environment is plus.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and cross-functional coordination.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proven track record of improving inventory accuracy and reducing discrepancies.
- Understanding of stock aging, obsolescence, and material flow optimization.

What Makes You Eligible

- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 5-8 years in inventory control and cycle count processes in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Good communication in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PPT, Excel required).
