The Role:
About 70% of our users have never coded before. They are small business owners, solo founders, and operators who had an idea and no engineer to build it with. We are hiring a filmmaker who works with AI generation tools to make films for our social channels and campaigns. You will make films end-to-end using AI image and video tools: concept, shot list, generation, edit, and finish.

The work has to hold up as film, not as a tech demo. Characters that stay consistent across shots, lighting and grade that match from cut to cut, and a story that works even for someone who has no idea how it was made. Most of our audience is in the US and Europe, and we make everything from 20-second social pieces to longer branded films and campaign work. This is a full-time role based in Bangalore, reporting to the Head of Brand and Marketing.

What You'll Do:

- Make short films and social video using AI image and video generation tools, from concept through final cut

- Write or develop the story, and build shot lists and storyboards before generating

- Prompt, iterate, and curate until the output is genuinely usable, rather than settling for the first acceptable result

- Keep characters, wardrobe, locations, and lighting consistent across a full sequence

- Edit the generated material into a finished film, with sound design, music, grade, and captions

- Combine AI output with live footage, screen recordings, and motion graphics where the piece calls for it

- Build and maintain reusable assets: character references, style guides, and prompt libraries the team can work from

- Keep pace with new models and tools, and tell us which ones are worth moving to

- Work with the writer and the on-camera creator on pieces that mix formats

What We're Looking For:

- A body of AI-generated film work we can watch, where the storytelling is as strong as the visuals

- Demonstrated ability to generate realistic imagery and video, with control over composition, lighting, and camera movement

- Proven consistency across shots. Show us a sequence, not a collection of standalone frames

- Hands-on command of current image and video generation tools, and a clear view of what each one is good for

- Strong editing skills in Premiere Pro or Final Cut, plus After Effects

- Grounding in the fundamentals: shot composition, coverage, pacing, and continuity

- Based in Bangalore, or willing to relocate

Nice to Have:

- Traditional film, animation, or VFX background

- Voice and audio generation, including cloning and dubbing

- Compositing, rotoscoping, or clean-up work

- Experience building repeatable pipelines rather than one-off pieces
