About this role

Contract of employment

Salary range: 16600-25400 PLN gross

We are looking for a  Project Manager  to join our rapidly growing delivery organization in Poland.
This is an opportunity for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about delivering high-impact, fixed-price technology projects for banking and financial services clients in Poland and Central Eastern Europe.

You’ll be part of a project governance family with a strong community and evolving best practices, empowered to drive innovation and shape delivery in an organization that blends consulting agility with engineering excellence.

Your duties:

- Lead and manage IT delivery projects (fixed-price, T&M or hybrid) for external clients in Poland and CEE

- Own project planning, tracking and execution using Agile, Hybrid or Waterfall methods

- Manage scope, resources, budget, risks and quality and dependencies with high autonomy

- Build and sustain strong, trust-based relationships with external stakeholders, including client VPs and Directors

- Proactively manage project financials (including profitability, buffers, revenue recognition and forecasting)

- Handle escalations and steer corrective actions through effective governance practices

- Shape the team, foster psychological safety, and mentor others to grow delivery maturity

- Contribute to pre-sales activities and provide delivery insights into client proposals

- Embrace a startup mindset – help set up, scale and evolve structures, processes and culture where needed

- Collaborate cross-functionally with business analysts, engineers, architects, and client representatives

Requirements:

- 5+ years of experience in IT Project Management in complex, client-facing environments

- Experience with fixed-price delivery, with demonstrated control over scope and profitability

- Hands-on experience with external client collaboration, including vendor management

- Familiarity with banking/financial services domains – e.g. neobanks, core banking transformations, regulatory platforms

- Comfortable in ambiguous, fast-evolving settings – you've worked in new functions or changing delivery setups

- Strong command of delivery tools: Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project or equivalents

- Strong written and verbal English skills; Polish is a plus

- Solid understanding of governance, compliance and audit-readiness in enterprise contexts

- You’re able to align project outcomes with broader strategic goals, not just deliver tasks

- You are a confident negotiator, able to find balanced outcomes for scope, budget and delivery

Nice to have

- Prior experience in CEE delivery contexts (culture, timelines, regulations, stakeholder dynamics)

- Professional certification (PMP, Prince2, AgilePM, SAFe, etc.)

- Experience working in consulting, software houses or systems integrators

We offer:

- Working in a highly experienced and dedicated team

- Contract of employment

- Hybrid work (2 days per week in one of our offices)

- Benefit package that can be tailored to your personal needs (private medical coverage, sport & recreation package, lunch subsidy, life insurance, etc.)

- On-line training and certifications fit for career path

- Access to e-learning platform

- Work From Anywhere (WFA) - the temporary option to work remotely outside of Poland for up to 140 days per year (including Italy, Spain, the UK, Germany, Portugal, and Bulgaria)

- Social events
