Are you passionate about helping people, providing exceptional service, and working in a high volume member focused branch where no two days are the same? Join Maine State Credit Union as a Member Experience Specialist in our busy Waterville branch!

As the first point of contact for our members, you'll play a key role in creating positive experiences while helping members achieve their financial goals. You'll process transactions, build meaningful relationships, identify opportunities to improve members' financial well-being, and contribute to a culture focused on service, trust, and community..

This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position with no weekend hours, offering an excellent work-life balance while providing the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and make a positive impact on our members' financial well-being

What You'll Do

✅ Deliver outstanding member service with every interaction

✅ Process member transactions, including:

- Deposits

- Withdrawals

- Transfers

- Loan payments

✅ Balance cash drawers and maintain transaction accuracy

✅ Educate members on products and services that meet their financial needs

✅ Open accounts and assist members with financial solutions

✅ Protect members from fraud by verifying identification and recognizing suspicious activity

✅ Research account and transaction questions to provide timely resolutions

✅ Support branch outreach efforts and participate in community events

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

✔ High School Diploma or GED

✔ 6 to12 months of cash handling, customer service, retail banking, or related experience

✔ Strong communication and relationship-building skills

✔ Attention to detail and accuracy

✔ Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

✔ Strong problem-solving skills and good judgment

✔ Comfortable using computers and learning financial software systems

✔ Commitment to maintaining member confidentiality and security

Ideal Candidates Have Experience In:

- Customer service

- Cash handling

- Banking or credit unions

- Retail sales

- Hospitality

- Financial services

The pay range for this position is $18/hr-20/hr based on experience.
