Job Purpose:
- The Barista at Cescaphe Event Group is responsible for creating high-quality coffee beverages and providing exceptional customer service to guests. This role involves working in a dynamic event setting, ensuring guests have a memorable experience through excellent service and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve coffee and other beverages in accordance with company standards and guest preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and equipment.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, addressing any inquiries or requests promptly.
- Collaborate with event staff to ensure seamless service during events.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee supplies and communicate needs to management.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while handling food and beverages.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down the coffee station for events.
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance guest experience and improve service efficiency.
Qualifications
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Required Experience:
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar food and beverage role is preferred.
- Experience in customer service and handling cash transactions.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specific recipes and instructions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions accurately.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and carrying supplies.
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment operation is an advantage.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
