PROGRAMMER ANALYST

POSITION SUMMARY

The Programmer Analyst has the responsibility to evaluate, analyze, develop, test, implement and maintain application software systems that support any/all aspects of the overall business.

They will also play a leading role in managing projects for which application development or scoping is required. This position works closely with the commercial and operations teams to deliver world class products through application development and vendor management.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline

- 5 years’ experience in business applications analysis and development

KEY COMPETENCIES

- Strong Understanding of coding standards and best practices

- Proficient in common programming languages, frameworks and design patterns such as Microsoft .NET, C#, ASP.Net, MVC, bootstrap, jquery, AJAX, JSON

- Knowledge of mobile development using flutter

- Adept at the development and execution of test plans and debugging

- Management and maintenance of source code within an enterprise source control system

- Design and development of relational databases

- Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server and Oracle.

- Authoring reports using SQL Server Reporting Services and modern visualization tools such as PowerBI, Jasper Reports

- Prior experience interviewing end-users for insight on functionality, interface, problems, and/or usability issues
