About the Role:
This position provides comprehensive administrative support to the College of Health & Human Services (CHHS) and its academic programs. Responsibilities include supporting the college’s financial management, accounts payable, billing, and reporting functions, as well as providing dedicated administrative and academic support to select programs and centers.

Administrative Support of New Hire Process, Faculty Credentialing, and Personnel Documentation/Processes

- Responsible for processing confidential pay & personnel (PAPS, etc.)
- Responsible for setting up faculty/instructor data & credentialing materials in Faculty Success.
- Support GA hiring support for the college.
- Oversight for confidential departmental, student, and faculty files.
- Responsible for processing Separation PAPs and related paperwork/ electronic inputs for Faculty & Staff positions.
- College recruit and events support.
- External partners support.

Administrative support of Financial Management, Bill Pay, and Reporting Functions

- Responsible for general financial management functions, including grants and foundation accounts.
- Responsible for processing Travel Requests and Expense Reports, Purchasing Supplies and reconciling ProCards, and Time Administration. Ensures compliance with all NKU guidelines. Key Designee for CHHS (Key requests, returns, audits, etc.)
- Responsible for directly or as the backup resource for bill payment, purchase requisitions, budget transfers, revenue transfers, vendor setup, revenue collection & bursar deposits, reconciliation of accounts, and other financial administration related duties.
- Responsible for and assist the Business Officer with CHHS Reporting.
- Responsible for directly or as the backup resource for the coordination of grant accounts and associated paperwork with faculty and other CHHS Staff.
- Oversight of departmental equipment/ furniture/ computer inventory (including annual reconciliations, tagging, and upgrade/replacement processes)
- Support other responsibilities as needed.

Education and Experience

- Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of work experience required
- General business and computer skills, with proficiency in MS Office Suite (especially Excel), Adobe, and Canva.
- SAP and Workday experience is helpful, yet not mandatory.
- Require good time management, basic math skills, interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to adapt to change quickly.
- Good data skills, keen attention to detail , and a very high accuracy rate.
