About this role
Cooling Pros Ltd. is now looking to hire a full-time Assistant HVAC Installer.
The functions of this role will include but not be limited to the following duties & responsibilities:
- Install various HVAC systems such as central ducted, mini split, VRF and light commercial air handlers, condensers, piping, and controls.
- Fabricate and install equipment and ductwork assemblies and systems on work sites according to blueprints, specifications and other resource information using hand tools, portable power tools and other specialized equipment.
- Residential and Commercial, New Construction and Existing Build jobsites.
- Installation of exhaust fans, grilles, and dampers as directed.
- Clean up debris generated by work activity.
- Performs routine fabrication and/or installation activities without direct oversight or on-site assistance.
- Assists in training new employees in installation-related subjects.
- Performs related duties as directed by the applicable Job Foreman or Project Manager.
- Keep tools needed in trade up to date.
- Cross training in all aspects of HVAC and refrigeration.
- Other duties as assigned from time to time.
The incumbent must have the following skills and experience:
- Must be experienced with various HVAC Systems.
- Must have 5-6 years’ experience.
- Clean Police Record.
- Keen attention to detail.
- A professional approach with strong communication skills.
- Be well organized and enjoy the challenges of supporting your manager.
- Flexibility - ability to work on Saturdays on pre-planned occasions.
