Position Summary
The Business Center Manager oversees the overall performance and success of the distribution center, including operations, financial management, business growth, workforce leadership, and compliance. This role ensures efficiency, profitability, and exceptional service delivery while maintaining strong client relationships and a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
Oversee daily operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping.
Implement strategies to maximize efficiency, productivity, and service quality.
Financial Management
Manage P&L performance, track expenses, and ensure profitability.
Prepare and analyze financial reports, including revenue, operating costs, and margins.
Identify cost-saving opportunities without sacrificing service quality.
Business Growth & Strategy
Develop and execute strategies to drive growth and customer satisfaction.
Identify new opportunities for clients, services, or markets.
Collaborate with senior sales leadership to support acquisition and retention.
Workforce Management
Lead, train, and manage a team of supervisors, warehouse workers, and logistics staff.
Foster a culture of engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Ensure staff compliance with safety, operational, and customer service standards.
Customer Service & Client Relations
Serve as a primary contact for key clients and partners.
Ensure customer expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
Use feedback and performance metrics to refine services and processes.
Compliance & Safety
Ensure adherence to all regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
Oversee safety protocols to maintain a safe workplace and reduce risk.
Technology & Process Optimization
Leverage technology and automation to improve operational efficiency.
Continuously refine logistics and distribution models to stay competitive.
Qualifications
### Experience managing operations, preferably in logistics, distribution, or related fields.
Strong financial acumen, with proven ability to manage budgets and P&L.
Excellent leadership, communication, and client-relations skills.
Ability to establish and maintain exemplary service levels.
Proven ability to optimize business models to remain competitive.
Working Conditions
Fast-paced environment with potential shift variations.
Requires normal (corrected) vision and hearing.
Frequent keyboarding, office equipment use, and occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs).
Ability to work effectively with frequent interruptions.
Minimal travel (<30%).
